Tezuka, DVDs, and Dilbert
I haven't updated here in a while, so I think I'll use the update I just gave to [info]mr_utopia_man to give the illusion that I'm still here.

Most of the time I'm at work or at school, with my only day off being on Sundays. Luckily that's when all the anime I watch comes on. I've also been spending some of my extra time at Powell's reading the Osamu Tezuka books that are on the shelves just to see if they really live up to their hype. The first couple I picked up really weren't worth reading, but MW was exceptional, especially for it's time. I'm also reading Buddha right now, which is also pretty good.

I've also almost finished collecting the Death Note DVDs. I wait until I can find a volume for $5 (that includes shipping) and then I go ahead and get it. Only three left. Still waiting for the box to arrive... And I also got the box for Moribito. Had to go through several dealers until I acquired one that wasn't broken by the time it got to me. (I received refunds for all the broken ones.) Animecornerstore.com really is an amazing place. They package stuff so well, it comes to you in mint condition.

I also just finished watching all of the Dilbert series from 10 years ago. There are many small clips from it I find very funny. This is basically how I feel about art:

((hugs))

You sound very busy and very deep into your anime! Dilbert gets alot of it right! Some of it painfully on the nose and makes me thrilled to be retired! Good to hear from you!

Yes, I've always found Dilbert funny and read the comics for years, so I finally decided to get around to watching the show. A lot of it really is right on the nose.

Ah~, love the animated series of Dilbert. ^^

Have you tried checking out Tezuka's Phoenix series?

Sorry for the long wait. Sundays are not my main days off. I plan on reading Phoenix if it ever finds its way on to the shelves at my local bookstore. They have a couple of volumes, but not all of them, and I would hate to only read half of the series.

I understand. =) But if you do feel the need to read a part of the series, then I highly recommend "Karma". I found myself reading the whole thing in an evening, though I originally intended to just read a few pages. Very good read!

Yes, Dilbert really is funny. It's fun to have some free time to do these once in a while.
