Tezuka, DVDs, and Dilbert
I haven't updated here in a while, so I think I'll use the update I just gave to
mr_utopia_man to give the illusion that I'm still here.
Most of the time I'm at work or at school, with my only day off being on Sundays. Luckily that's when all the anime I watch comes on. I've also been spending some of my extra time at Powell's reading the Osamu Tezuka books that are on the shelves just to see if they really live up to their hype. The first couple I picked up really weren't worth reading, but MW was exceptional, especially for it's time. I'm also reading Buddha right now, which is also pretty good.
I've also almost finished collecting the Death Note DVDs. I wait until I can find a volume for $5 (that includes shipping) and then I go ahead and get it. Only three left. Still waiting for the box to arrive... And I also got the box for Moribito. Had to go through several dealers until I acquired one that wasn't broken by the time it got to me. (I received refunds for all the broken ones.) Animecornerstore.com really is an amazing place. They package stuff so well, it comes to you in mint condition.
I also just finished watching all of the Dilbert series from 10 years ago. There are many small clips from it I find very funny. This is basically how I feel about art:
